Kaltume is a visual artist with specialisations in Fine Arts, Mosaics, Murals and paintings. She has participated in over 50 art exhibitions both at home and abroad. Kaltume tries to document, sensitise and relate to the experiences of the society and culture in which she lives and has been responsible communicator in the projection of her heritage through her works of Art. She also uses the creative process to provide therapy through Art and to assist victims of trauma. She is a Fellow of Arts in Medicine, also a member and fellow of society of Nigerian artists.
